Non-monetary Contributions

We are so grateful for all the donations contributed to help meet the needs of our moms and babies within the Zelie’s Home community. Below are the steps taken to schedule donations drop offs.

 

Donation Process

1.) If you are not sure about your items to donate contact us by email (donations@zelieshome.org) or phone (Garfield Heights: 216-202-5308; Lakewood: 216-200-7761) with a photo of your items.

2.) If you would like to donate, please schedule an appointment drop your donations off at either the Garfield Heights or Lakewood location.

3.) When bringing donations, please bring them in boxes, laundry baskets, or totes. No donations should be left unattended on our premises.

4.) Please remember to fill out our donations log with your name, date, phone number, address, organization(if applicable), items donated and fair market value of items. If you choose to remain anonymous, that is okay as well, but please indicate that on the donation log.


Furniture Donations: Due to space limitations we are asking that furniture donations be emailed to us with a picture of the item. All accepted furniture donations MUST be delivered by the donor. If the donor cannot accommodate delivery to Zelie’s Home, we suggest reaching out to our non-profit partners who can pick-up your furniture donations:

Purchase items directly from Amazon to have them shipped to Zelie’s Home.

Maintaining Zelie’s Home requires household items and goods that are used on a daily basis. Please Click here to schedule a time to drop them off!

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept the following items:

  • Used cribs - We cannot use or give our mothers used cribs directly, however we can connect you with alumnae moms seeking the furniture.

  • Used car seats - We cannot use or give our mothers used car seats due to inability to confirm that they have not been in accidents and have not reached their expiration date.
